This exceptional half-day activity will unveil all the secrets of cognac making in a small family estate. If needed, a private guide will take care of transportation, from the Angoulême train station to the estate.

After a personalized welcome in the courtyard of the family farm, we will accompany you to the old distillery where you will discover the basics of cognac distillation, the history of the aoc Cognac, its age-old know-how and its worldwide influence.

Then, two different tours will be proposed to you according to the season:

- During the Spring-Summer period, it is the blossoming of the vines. During the spring-summer period, the vines are in full bloom. The sunny days will be favorable to discover the permaculture vines on the Hiersac anticline. Direction the parcel named "Chez Marinette" in a vintage car, where a member of the Bourgoin family will give you a reading of the landscape: the cultivation method, the soils, the vintages and the grape varieties of the vineyard.
- During the Autumn-Winter season, it is the distillation campaign of the cognac. Like an apprentice winemaker, retrace step by step the production process of this elixir of life.

Once back at the estate, you will go through the microbarrique cellars where you will taste 3 emblematic cognacs of the family: Microbarrique, Brut de Fût, Fine Pale... Without forgetting our delicious Pineaux and our Verjus.

For lunch, you will be invited at the family table with Muguette, Alain and Frédéric Bourgoin. This will be an opportunity for you to discuss with the winemaker about the 1001 intrigues of Cognac. Sharing, passion and conviviality will be the order of the day!
